Work to repair road washouts, storm damage, and to make significant improvements to the Eagle Creek Road in Nez Perce County’s Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area is complete and the road is fully available for use.

The newly minted Branded Bonanza, formerly Mustang Mania, will take place June 28 – 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Ford Idaho Horse Park. The Bonanza will showcase both an in-hand and under saddle competition featuring nearly 50 youth and adult trainers who have adopted and worked with a wild horse or burro since March.

The BLM Boise District Office will host a wild horse adoption June 7 - 8 at the Boise Wild Horse Off-Range Corral just off Pleasant Valley Road. There will be approximately 60 wild horses and seven burros available this weekend.
BLM approves Burnstone Quarry near Idaho Falls - Burns Industries, LLC would develop the quarry on 204 acres of BLM-managed public land, with a total surface disturbance of 262 acres, including some private lands, during the 100-year life of the quarry.
