BLM Artist in Residence presents community workshop

The Bureau of Land Management, in partnership with the Mono Arts Council (MAC), announces a community engagement event as part of its Artist in Residence Program. On Saturday, Sept. 28, from 3-6 p.m., photographer Ryan Contreras will host a special workshop titled, “Advanced Cyanotypes” at 437 Old Mammoth Road, Suite 180, Mammoth Lakes, CA.

BLM announces seasonal prescribed burning projects in north and north central Idaho

BLM plans gather of excess wild horses: October gather will take place in Twin Peaks Herd Management Area

The Bureau of Land Management has announced plans to gather and remove excess wild horses from public rangelands in the Twin Peaks Herd Management Area to prevent impacts to rangeland health in Lassen County, Calif., and Washoe County, Nev. Gather operations will begin Tuesday, Oct. 1, and could continue for 15 days or longer.

Public invited to participate in National Public Lands Day on September 28
