BISHOP, Calif. – The Bureau of Land Management is issuing fire restrictions for all public lands managed by the Bishop Field Office effective Monday, July 1, due to dry conditions and wildland fire danger. These seasonal restrictions are in addition to the year-round statewide fire prevention order. This seasonal fire order will remain in effect until further notice.
The newly minted Branded Bonanza, formerly Mustang Mania, will take place June 28 – 29, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Ford Idaho Horse Park. The Bonanza will showcase both an in-hand and under saddle competition featuring nearly 50 youth and adult trainers who have adopted and worked with a wild horse or burro since March.
