Southwest Resource Advisory Council to meet Mar. 18, 2016

MONTROSE, Colo.—The Bureau of Land Management’s Southwest Resource Advisory Council will meet Friday, Mar. 18, at the Ridgway County Fairground Building (22739 Hwy. 550) at 9:30 a.m.
The meeting is open to the public, and the public comment period is at 2 p.m. Individuals who want to make a statement during the public comment period should register with the BLM by sending an email to sborders@blm.gov by Wednesday, Mar. 16. Speakers should also submit a written copy of their statement at the meeting for the administrative record. Depending on the number of speakers, the RAC may limit the length of presentations.

- Recreation Resource Advisory Council Training
- Recreation Fee Proposals
- Oil and Gas Sub-group update
The Southwest RAC is one of three advisory councils to BLM Colorado. Composed of 15 members appointed by the Secretary of the Interior, individuals serving in each RAC represent diverse public land interests, ranging from environmental to local government to commercial activity.
