LAS VEGAS – The Bureau of Land Management Las Vegas Field Office today announced it is seeking public comment on Clark County Real Property Management’s proposal to lease and subsequently convey approximately 10 acres of public land for a public park and related facilities. The parcel is located near the intersection of LeBaron Avenue and Lindell Road in the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley.
The proposed park will consist of premanufactured restrooms with water bottle filler(s), eight shade structures, a sport/exercise equipment area, a splash pad, multiage playground areas, a trash enclosure, tennis/pickle ball/sand volleyball/basketball courts, trees, planters, typical desert landscaping, paved walking trails, concrete sidewalks, street and park lighting, a paved parking lot, and utilities for direct support of the proposed park.
“The BLM is pleased to have a role in the development of parks that will help the local community grow,” said Shonna Dooman, Las Vegas Field Manager. “This action will help Clark County Real Property Management increase recreational opportunities for current and future residents in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.”
