Subject: Cancellation of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Forms 8110-001, 8110-002,8110-003, 8110-004 and 8110-005
Program Area: Cultural, Paleontological Resources and Tribal Consultation
Purpose: The purpose of this Instruction Memorandum (IM) is to formally declare that the following BLM forms are obsolete and no longer needed:
8110-001 | Cultural Resource Inventory Record – Site or Isolated Artifact |
8110-002 | Cultural Resource Inventory Record –Component Identification |
8110-003 | Cultural Resource Inventory Record – Artifact/Sample Identification |
8110-004 | Cultural Resource Evaluation Record |
8110- 005 | Cultural Resource Inventory/Evaluation Record Continuation Sheet |
Policy/Action: Effective immediately, Forms 8110-001, 8110-002, 8110-003, 8110-004 and 8110-005 are cancelled as BLM documents. All offices should destroy any remaining inventory. Please note that the forms will no longer be available through the Printed Materials Distribution Services (PMDS) nor from the Internal Forms Web Page (Forms Central) at: http://web.blm.gov/blmforms/.
Timeframe: This Instruction Memorandum is effective upon receipt.
Budget Impact: None.
Background: The referenced forms were previously utilized to collect cultural resources inventory, and to provide National Register of Historic Places eligibility information. The information is currently being submitted to the BLM via State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) databases and forms.
Manual/Handbook Sections Affected: None.
