Subject: Availability of “Making a Difference: BLM’s 2010 Volunteer Annual Report”
The Division of Education, Interpretation, and Partnerships is pleased to announce the availability of “Making a Difference: BLM’s 2010 Volunteer Annual Report,” which presents profiles of outstanding BLM volunteer projects, as well as statistical information on State and Center Volunteer Programs for Fiscal Year 2010. The report underscores the important role volunteers play in caring for our public lands, and is a useful tool for conveying this message to both internal and external audiences. Volunteer Coordinators are encouraged to distribute copies to field offices, program managers, volunteers, partner organizations, community leaders, and others.
The report is currently online. Printed copies will be available free of charge from BLM’s Printed Materials Distribution Services (PMDS) in late June 2011. Should you wish to obtain printed copies at that time, please ask your office Forms Manager to place an order for you. The PMDS item number assigned to the report is EE9-006B.
We extend our thanks to the many BLM employees who contributed to the production and design of this report. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Shelly Fischman of the Division of Education, Interpretation, and Partnerships at (202) 912-7453 or Shelly_Fischman@blm.gov.
