Barrow Field Station

The BLM Arctic District maintains a field station in the northernmost city in the United States, Utqiaġvik, formerly known as Barrow. The Barrow Field Station is staffed year-round, and provides an important information center for local residents. The office serves a key role in liaising with the North Slope Borough, local and regional tribal entities, and Alaska Native Corporations.
