This week's Record of the Week story map features the second-largest city in Iowa, Cedar Rapids. The economy of Cedar Rapids is traditionally based in the manufacturing and processing of agricultural products (Cedar Rapids is the largest corn-processing city in the world) and the production of electronic equipment. The city's association with high technology dates to the early years of Collins Radio Company. Today, the radio company is part of Rockwell Collins, ranked as the largest employer in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City region. The GLO website provides live access to Federal land conveyance records for the Public Land States, including image access to more than 12 million federal land title records issued between 1788 and the present.
