BLM continues to receive robust response on Leasing EIS

An estimated 175 people attended the Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program environmental impact statement scoping meeting in Anchorage, Alaska.  The comments were substantive, ranging in topics from socioeconomic impacts to concerns about the environment.

It’s not too late to get involved! Go to the Coastal Plain EIS website for an idea of the kinds of comments the project planners are looking for, as well as the email and mailing addresses you can send the comments to.
