Congratulations to the Jackson Interagency Hotshot Crew (IHC) who were recently recertified as a type 1 IHC!

Partners work together to refresh the Thompson Springs fuel break in Utah

Members of the Thompson Springs community in Utah contacted the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and Utah Forestry Fire and State Lands and asked that the two agencies to help strengthen the previous fuel break on the western side of town.

Change has been a long time coming for the Boise airtanker base located at the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). In 2021 construction was completed on a new permanent structure and storage cache.
