The BLM Arizona Strip District’s fire crews along with partner agencies and municipal crews are suppressing four wildland fires located south of St. George, Utah.

The BLM’s West Desert District will host a meeting and field tour of the Utah Resource Advisory Council (RAC) Aug. 14-15, 2024, to discuss various issues related to the management of public lands in Utah.

The San Rafael Swell Recreation Area Advisory Council is scheduled to conduct a public meeting and a field tour on August 13-14, 2024.

Work to repair road washouts, storm damage, and to make significant improvements to the Eagle Creek Road in Nez Perce County’s Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area is complete and the road is fully available for use.

Travel remains open during construction on the Shoshone Lake Road but expect delays through completion, expected in early August.

As part of a comprehensive effort to catalogue existing routes in the 31 Mile Mountain and southern South Park area of northern Fremont and southern Park Counties, the BLM is seeking public input on an initial inventory.
