Trails Center announces summer Junior Ranger programs
Event Description
CASPER, Wyo. – Bring your kids to the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center for free educational youth programs held every Saturday at 11 a.m. throughout the summer. Each program includes a fun, interactive hands-on activity.
The lineup of Junior Ranger programs for the summer are as follows:
- June 1: Life on the Trail
- June 8: Riding the Pony Express
- June 15: Gold Rush!
- June 22: The Way of the Plains Indian
- June 29: The Ferocious Fur Trade
- July 6: Life on the Trail
- July 13: The Way of the Plains Indian
- July 20: Gold Rush!
- July 27: Life on the Trail
- August 3: The Ferocious Fur Trade
- August 10: Riding the Pony Express
- August 17: Gold Rush!
- August 24: Life on the Trail
- August 31: The Way of the Plains Indian
Junior Ranger programs are geared for children ages seven through eleven, however, all ages are welcome. Chaperone are required to stay on-site for the duration of the program and are invited to participate in activities.
