Rock Springs Holding Facility Wild Horse Adoption Event
Event Description
BLM Wyoming is planning to hold a wild horse adoption event in the Rock Springs Wild Horses Holding Facility on April 19, 2025. The event will be at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with 40 horses plus burros present during the event. Adoptions are first come, first served. These wild horses were recently gathered from White Mountain Herd Management Area and other areas.
For directions to the Rock Springs Wild Horses Holding Facility, it is from I-80 in Rock Springs, take the Elk Street exit #104 and go north one mile. Turn onto Loin Kol Road in between the CAT Dealership and Wyoming DOT, the facility will be ¾ of a mile on the left-hand side.
