Notice of Availability of the Draft Resource Management Plan Amendment and Environmental Impact Statement for the Lakeview Field Office, Lakeview District, Oregon
In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management has prepared a Draft Resource Management Plan Amendment and Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Lakeview RMP and by this notice is providing information announcing the opening of the comment period on the Draft RMP Amendment and Draft EIS.
The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation.
