The Bureau of Land Management is temporarily setting aside roughly 1,920 acres of public lands associated with the proposed 200-megawatt Neptune Solar Project near Delta in Millard County. This means that the lands will be withdrawn from the public land laws for two years, including location under the Mining Law, but not the Mineral Leasing Act or the Materials Act, subject to valid existing rights. During that time, the BLM will review potential environmental impacts of the proposed project.

The withdrawal notice will publish in the Federal Register on Monday, December 16, 2024.
