BLM seeks public input for the Wildcat Exploration Project in Nevada
LOVELOCK, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public input on a preliminary Environmental Assessment for the Wildcat Exploration Project in the Seven Troughs Range of Pershing County. Millennial NV, LLC, proposes to assess gold mining potential across more than 12,000 public and private acres by disturbing the surface of approximately 400 acres, with 365 of those acres on public lands.
The comment period will close July 2, 2024. Written comments may be submitted through the “Participate Now” option at the BLM National NEPA Register (preferred) where additional information and planning documents are available for review. Comments may also be delivered to: Wildcat Exploration Project, BLM Winnemucca District Office, 5100 East Winnemucca Blvd., Winnemucca, NV 89445 and must be post marked by July 2, 2024.
