BLM seeks annual Christmas tree donations
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Lake Havasu Field Office Fisheries Improvement Program will have a dumpster available for drop-off of Christmas trees from Dec. 26 to Jan. 6 at Lake Havasu City Aquatic Center, 100 Park Ave, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. Residents can bring their post-Christmas, ornament-free, fresh-cut, evergreen trees during this time.
“BLM and other volunteers and tree donations allow us to create quality natural habitat for fish and aquatic organisms in Lake Havasu,” said Rachel Wirick, BLM fisheries biologist for the Field Office. “The fisheries improvement program really only thrives with volunteers and community support.”
