HAMILTON, Mont. — For those unable to attend in-person events, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Montana/Dakotas invites the public to participate in the BLM Wild Horse & Burro Online Adoption, July 14-21, 2025, via the Wild Horse and Burro Online Corral. 

A public viewing event will be held July 19 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the Matt Bischof Training Facility in Hamilton. All bidding and applications must be submitted online

“Wild horses and burros are living symbols of the American West, and they are looking for a new home,” said Patrick Merrill, BLM Montana/Dakotas Wild Horse & Burro Coordinator. “By adopting one, you become part of a legacy of freedom and resilience, while gaining a loyal and hardworking companion for your farm, ranch, or outdoor adventures.”
