BLM extends sequestration project comment period to May 17
MILES CITY, Mont. – The Bureau of Land Management has extended the public comment period again for the environmental assessment for the Denbury Carbon Solutions, LLC proposal to construct and operate a CO2 sequestration project in southeastern Montana. The additional 30-day comment period extension ends May 17, 2024.
The EA, applicable documents, and a venue for submitting comments are available on the BLM e-Planning page dedicated to this project at https://eplanning.blm.gov/eplanning-ui/project/2026556/510.
Written comments must be delivered/postmarked by May 17, 2024. Electronic comments may only be submitted via e-Planning. Hard copy comments can be mailed or hand-delivered during business hours (8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.) to the Miles City Field Office, Attention: Irma Nansel, 111 Garryowen Road, Miles City, MT 59301-7000.
