A developed and newly renovated campground is located at the US Forest Service Trailhead on the South side of the Highway. Trails (20 miles) are available for hikers, bikers, cross-country skiers, and horses. Warming/rest shelters are available along several of the trails. Restrooms are available at both trailheads. There is an interpretive hike (0.4 miles) “Weeds of the Great Basin” with 12 interpretive signs placed at various intervals.
