Three Peaks OHV Trailhead

The Three Peaks OHV Trailhead serves as a large OHV staging area in the heart of the Three Peaks Recreation Area. The site provides immediate access to the Color Country OHV Trail System and miles of additional motorized routes that navigate the surrounding terrain. The site includes an improved gravel parking area, vault toilet, potable water, covered picnic area, and information kiosk.

Please do your part to limit the impacts of OHV recreation and protect the Three Peaks Recreation Area. Model appropriate behavior and leave your public lands better than you found them.

  • Stay off non-motorized trails. Three Peaks contains 30+ miles of signed trails limited to bike and foot traffic. Always yield to horses, hikers, and bikers.

  • Stay on existing roads and trails. Don’t create new routes or expand existing trails.

  • Drive over, not around obstacles. Help prevent the incremental widening of routes and damage to vegetation.

  • Pack out what you pack in and carry a trash bag to pick up litter left by others.
