Temple Mountain Townsite Campground

Temple Mountain Townsite Campground is located at the intersection of Temple Mountain and Behind-the-Reef Roads, two miles west of the turnoff to Goblin Valley State Park. One of the most distinctive geologic features of central Utah, the Reef is a 75-mile-long rocky spine that reaches up to 1,000 feet high and forms the eastern edge of the San Rafael Swell. Temple Mountain Townsite has nine individual first-come, first-served campsites and one first-come, first-served group site with a large pavilion area. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings. The campground also has two vault toilets and an information kiosk, and provides hiking access to historic mines. Please recreate responsibly, drive on designated routes, and respect historic sites and mine closures.
