Length of Hike: 3.27 miles one-way to top of pass Type of Hike: Primitive trail for hiking and equestrian use, marked by rock cairns Area Attractions: Great views of the Priest and Nuns, Castle Rock, Adobe Mesa, Professor Valley and Richardson Amphitheater Route Description: The trail starts out gently, then becomes a more moderate uphill hike. Near the top of the pass the trail is narrow with some cliff exposure. Return via the same route.

Directions
At the end of the (unsigned) Professor Valley Road, which intersects Hwy 128 about 1 mile past Sorrel River Ranch. Park at the large cleared area just past the ranch irrigation facility.
