Stewart Pond Disc Golf Course
BLM's first and only 18 hole disc golf course in Oregon/Washington is located in the West Eugene Wetlands. The course is open seven days a week from sunrise to sunset, and is free of charge! Concrete tee pads are placed at the starting point of each hole, with tee baskets placed at the final destination of each hole -- with at least two different baskets for each hole.
A kiosk located at the first hole offers golfers a map and course information. Individual tees are named and have distances and par ratings. The course is designed with seasonality in mind so it is fully scalable to deal with inclement weather and the rainy season. Depending on the time of year and amount of rain, golfers can play 9, 12, or 18 holes.
Know Before You Go
- Open dawn until dusk, year-round.
- The course is in an urban setting; lock your vehicle and leave nothing of value in it.
- Pets must be leashed at all times.
Point of Interest
The course is the fruit of a collaborative, years-long effort of the Eugene Disc Golf Club and the Bureau of Land Management.
