Seven Mountain

Seven Mountain is a BLM parcel located within Cody, Wyoming which provides for access to the Shoshone River.

The two-tracks within the Seven Mountain parcel provides for opportunities for limited OHV use, horseback riding, walking/running, and mountain biking. Hunting activities are popular for both waterfowl and big game.

An access trail constructed in partnership with Trout Unlimited, and maintained by volunteer efforts, such as National Public Lands Day, will take users to the Shoshone River.

Directions

From Bighorn Avenue / US Highway 14a, turn north onto Cooper Lane East (44th Street) and bear north until you reach an intersection that separates Cooper Lane East and 44th Street. Turn north onto 44th Street until you reach Pat O'Hara Mountain Drive. Turn west onto Pat O'Hara Mountain Drive to the end of the block until you reach 41st Street heading south, and a two-track spurring north. Turn north onto the two-track to the parking area (managed by the Wyoming State Land Board).
