Rocky Peak Trailhead
The Rocky Peak Trailhead provides convenient hiking access to Rocky Peak (6,404’), a prominent summit within the BLM’s Three Peaks Special Recreation Management Area. From the trailhead, the Rocky Peak Trail ascends 450’ in less than one mile so visitors should be prepared for a short, albeit challenging hike. The payoff is a stunning 360-degree view of surrounding terrain and the dramatic geologic features defining the region.
The Rocky Peak Trailhead includes restrooms and a large gravel parking area. The trailhead also provides supplemental access to the Twilight Zone Trail.
