The Geysers encompasses about 7,100 acres of public lands and straddles the Lake County/Sonoma County line.

From Highway 101
Follow Highway 101 north to Lytton Springs Rd. Take exit 507 for Lytton Springs Rd toward Alexander Valley Rd. Follow Lytton Station Rd to Alexander Valley Rd After 2.1 miles Alexander Valley Rd becomes Highway 128. Head northeast on CA-128 toward Pine Flat Rd. Turn left onto Pine Flat Rd. Stay on Pine Flat Road for 11 miles until it dead-ends into BLM gate.
