Castle Rock Trail
This 5.65 mile trail is part of the Cerbat Foothills Recreation Area trail system and is rated strenuous. Castle Rock Trail connects the Badger Trail and Camp Beale Loop, featuring vistas of the surrounding valley and interesting rock formations.
Weather conditions are most comfortable between the months of September and May, although early-morning use during the summer can be pleasant as well. No drinking water is available along the trail and shade is very scarce.

Castle Rock Trail can be accessed by Badger Trail or Camp Beale Loop Trail.
Badger Trailhead: Follow I-40 W to US-93 N/W Beale St. in Kingman. Take exit 48 north from I-40W. Continue on US-93 for 4.2 miles. Turn right into the Badger trailhead parking area located just after the US-93/ST Route 68 interchange.
Camp Beale Loop Trailhead: Follow I-40W to US-93 N/W Beale St. in Kingman. Take exit 48 north from I-40W. turn right on Fort Beale Dr, continue for 1.3 miles and turn left up the steep paved hill for 0.3 miles, parking is on the right.
