C Trailhead

The “C” Trailhead is located on Cedar City land on the southeast side of Cedar City. The trailhead provides access to the Iron Hills Trail System and the Cedar City paved walking trail system. It offers mountain biking, hiking, trail running, and horseback riding experiences. The 4.42-mile “C” Trail begins at the trailhead and climbs to the “C” Overlook where an expansive view of Cedar City and the surrounding mountains, desert, and fields can be seen. The trail connects to the Iron Hills Trail System and provides access to several downhill flow trails including Highlands, Green Hollow, Boulder Dash, Lava Flow, and Iron Giant. 

Iron Hills Trail System: 30+ miles

Winter use: Avoid trail use when trails are muddy. Use trail when they are frozen. Snowy condition are great for fat bikes and snowshoes.

From Interstate 15 take exit 57 for Business Loop 15/UT-130/S Main toward UT-14 E. From the south keep right at the fork and merge onto UT-130/Cross Hollow Road/Main Street. From the north keep left at the fork and merge onto Cross Hollow Road/UT-130/Main Street. Turn right onto W Sunset Dr./W 820 S for .6 miles. Turn right onto gravel C Trail Access Rd. C Trail Access Rd. end at the C Trailhead.
