Arch Canyon

Arch Canyon is a 12-mile-long, stunning canyon with red, sandstone, rock walls, and several arches. The creek that runs along the bottom of the canyon normally has water (all water should be treated prior to drinking). Looking along the canyon walls, visitors may spot for hanging gardens and cliff dwellings. Please remember to treat these special places with respect. This trail has no visitor fee but the BLM will be implementing a free permit system in 2025.

Arch Canyon is a 12-mile-long box canyon, narrow with a flat bottom at tall walls, located north of highway 95.
