The Bureau of Land Management is hosting a virtual workshop on the Automated Fluid Minerals Support System (AFMSS) on April 13-14, 2020. The objective of the workshop is to arrive at a common understanding of various challenges with the system, collaboratively discuss/propose options to address these challenges and create a partnership and plan for continued future engagement to ensure smooth future operation of AFMSS. This workshop is specifically designed for industry and Federal Government technical experts who use and/or work with AFMSS to submit, process, and receive approval for APDs, and experience the challenges of the AFMSS system.

Presentations, information sharing, and discussion of utilizing the AFMSS program are expected to improve its use and reduce processing time for APDs.  

Day one will be from 1 pm to 5 pm Mountain Daylight Time.
Day two will be from 8 am to 12 noon Mountain Daylight Time.
