Trails Center hosting 'Native American History' demonstrations, youth program on Saturday

CASPER, Wyo. – Visit the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center this Saturday, October 21, for free, interactive programs for all ages.
The Trails Center welcomes back Wyoming artist Cleve Bell for a day of demonstrations focusing on Native American history. Throughout the day, Bell will share information about Native American culture and history while demonstrating how to make arrows, arrowheads, and tomahawks.
At 11 a.m., the Trails Center invites all young explorers to participate in this month’s History Club program, “Outlaws of the West.” Children will craft skillfully designed wanted posters to catch the notorious outlaws of the West. History Club is geared for 2nd – 5th graders, but all ages are welcome. Chaperones are required to stay on site for the duration of the program.

- 2 p.m. - Arrowhead/stone tool knapping
