Snowshoe Hike at Angel Creek Campground

ELKO, Nev. – The last guided snowshoe hike of the season will be at Angel Creek Campground, on Angel Lake Road, Wells, NV, 6:00p.m., Saturday, March 24.

The event will start at 6:00 p.m. and last approximately two hours.  Snowshoes are available at no charge for the first 25 people who register or you can bring your own equipment.  There will be several trails for this hike.  After the hike, free snacks and hot chocolate will be served around a lit campfire.

The Bureau of Land Management, U.S. Forest Service, South Fork State Park, and Nevada Outdoor School have teamed up this season to offer free guided snowshoe hikes this winter.
