Senator Wash North Shore Campground closed due to flooding from recent rains

YUMA, Ariz. – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Yuma Field Office announced that Senator Wash North Shore Campground is closed due to varying degrees of flooding from recent rainfall. Yuma Field Office staff has surveyed the site and made the decision to close the area because of public safety concerns. Visitors who were planning on recreating in this area should be aware of conditions and make alternate plans. 
 
BLM will reopen Senator Wash North Shore Campground once the water has receded and the campground is in full operation.
