Ribbon cutting ceremony at Bruneau Canyon Overlook

TWIN FALLS, ID – The Twin Falls District BLM office invites the public to a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Bruneau Canyon Overlook site on Thursday, June 1.  The celebration ceremony will start at 11 a.m.

The Overlook, approximately 24 miles south of Bruneau on the east side of the Bruneau River, now offers a dramatically improved area from which to take in the breathtaking vistas along the canyon rim.  The Overlook also offers a variety of new amenities, including an ADA-accessible trail along the edge of the wilderness.  Please join the Bureau of Land Management as we dedicate this special area.

Lunch will be hosted by The Wilderness Society and catered by Zeppole Baking Company; please RSVP by May 24, 2017 so we can plan for your attendance!     RSVP to Public Affairs Specialist Heather Tiel-Nelson, (208) 736-2352 or hnelson@blm.gov.
