ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Bureau of Land Management’s Red Cliffs Recreation Area Campground will reopen Feb. 17 in anticipation of a busy President's Day weekend.

Campers and other visitors still must provide their own water due to ongoing upgrades to the potable water system in the Bureau of Land Management’s Red Cliffs Recreation Area. The project will replace waterlines and add waterlines for additional hydrants.

Vaulted toilets are open at the campground and the White Reef Trailhead.

Campground fees are $15 per night, per site and Day Use fees are $5 per vehicle. The America the Beautiful-National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass Series, https://on.doi.gov/2hr36vf, are accepted and allow for free day use. Camping fees are discounted 50 percent with Senior and Access passes.

For more information, campers may contact the St. George Field Office at (435) 688-3200.
