FALLS CHURCH, Va. - BLM Eastern States invites the public to attend two National Public Lands Day events hosted by the Northeastern and Southeastern District offices on Saturday, September 24, 2022.
MEADOWOOD SPECIAL RECREATION MANAGEMENT AREA
A volunteer tree planting event will take place at the Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area in Lorton, Virginia. Volunteers will meet to plant native trees and shrubs near the Mustang Trailhead Trailer Parking Lot. T-shirts, snacks, and refreshments will be provided.

JUPITER INLET LIGHTHOUSE OUTSTANDING NATURAL AREA
A volunteer trail maintenance and mangrove planting event will take place at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area in Jupiter, Florida. BLM staff will be on site with educational information, Agents of Discovery information and Every Kid Outdoors passes.
