CASPER, Wyo. – Kick off your spring break with fun, free programs for all ages at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center.
The Trails Center’s youth journaling series continues at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26 with the program, “Journaling Your Day.” Students will learn to document their daily happenings by practicing chronological organization of their thoughts and reflections. Journals will be available to participants while supplies last.
At 1 p.m. on March 26 and 27, the Trails Center will show the award-winning film, “Meek’s Cutoff.” Set in the early days of the Oregon Trail, “Meek’s Cutoff” is based on the true accounts of a wagon train of pioneers led by mountain man Stephen Meek and the group’s ill-fated trek across the Oregon desert. The film runs for 104 minutes and is rated PG.
