Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area Celebrates NPLD September 24, 2016
Organization:
BLM Office:
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Eastern States invites volunteers to help construct a fence to protect the Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area wetland area, September 24, as part of the National Public Lands Day (NPLD) annual celebration.
The event will take place at the Meadowood Special Recreation Management Area (MSRMA), 10406 Gunston Road, in Lorton, Virginia, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Through NPLD, BLM, volunteers, local partners and the National Environmental Education Foundation (NEEF) works together to connect people to public lands in their community, inspire environmental stewardship, and encourage use of public lands for education, recreation and general health.
Come out and help us on this annual day to celebrate something we all share: our public lands!
