The area is currently under a temporary closure due to the Keswick Fire which broke out on Saturday. CAL FIRE reports that the 24-acre fire is now 100 percent contained. The closure will allow firefighters to safely complete fire containment operations in the area of Keswick Dam Road and Iron Mountain Road in Redding.
"Safety is our first priority and we are cooperating with CAL FIRE to ensure public safety and also the safety of those working to get the fire contained." said Jennifer Mata, Redding Field Office Manager.
