Free musical performance to be held at the Trails Center

CASPER, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management National Historic Trails Interpretive Center will host Butch and Christina Lynn Martin Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 10 a.m. during the free musical performance, “Time Travels Through the American West.”
During this presentation, the Martins will highlight their critically acclaimed documentary concert “Romancing the West,” which is scheduled as an ArtCore performance later the same evening. Both shows tell a story spanning the 1700s through The Great Depression and into the age of rock and roll.
Cowboy poet and balladeer Butch Martin has shared the stage with the likes of Baxter Black, Dave Stamey and Red Stegall. A performer, author and singer, Butch combines his talents with that of his singer and songwriter wife, Christina Lynn, to present history in an entertaining and inclusive manner using a multi-media approach.

The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center is a part of the BLM’s National Landscape Conservation System. The areas of the NLCS are specifically designed to conserve, protect and restore the exceptional scientific, natural, cultural, ecological, historical, and recreation values of these treasured landscapes.
The NHTIC is a public-private partnership between the BLM and the National Historic Trails Center Foundation. The facility is located at 1501 N. Poplar Street, Casper, Wyoming.
