Firewood permits available

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pocatello Field Office and Upper Snake Field Office will issue firewood permits May 31 through Nov. 30, 2019.  Permits are available at the following locations:

  • Upper Snake Field Office: 1405 Hollipark Drive, Idaho Falls, 208-524-7500
    Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Pocatello Field Office: 4350 S. Cliffs Drive in Pocatello, 208-478-6340
    Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

You must have a valid permit to cut and/or remove wood from public lands.  Firewood cutting areas are designated. Please remember—SAFETY FIRST! Information such as prices and designated cutting areas may be obtained by calling the Pocatello Field Office at 208-478-6340 or Upper Snake Field Office at 208-524-7500.
