BLM Supplemental Draft EIS public meeting July 17

(MILES CITY, Mont.) – A public meeting to discuss the Bureau of Land Management Miles City Field Office Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement has been scheduled for July 17 in Miles City.
The meeting will be at the BLM offices (111 Garryowen Road) and will run from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On May 17, the BLM published the Supplemental Draft EIS making it available for public comment as part of the land use planning process in response to a United States Montana District court opinion and order pertinent to “Western Organization of Resource Councils, et al vs BLM.”
The Supplemental Draft EIS, as well as instructions for submitting comments, is available on the BLM e-Planning webpage at: https://go.usa.gov/xmbE4.
