WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah—The Bureau of Land Management Salt Lake Field Office is seeking public comment on the Park City land sale environmental assessment (EA).  As proposed, this EA would dispose of lands in Park City, Summit County, Utah, as directed by the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (P.L. 111-11), § 2609(b).

The proposed sale would affect a total of 5.24 acres of isolated tracts of public land, including 3.39 acres through competitive sale, 0.73 acres through direct sale, and 1.12 acres through Recordable Disclaimers of Interest.

“The BLM values the American family and strives to be a good neighbor,” said BLM Salt Lake Field Manager Matt Preston. “We are pleased to work with Park City Municipal Corporation and other partners to comply with Public Law 111-11 in a manner that best meets the interests of affected stakeholders.”

The 30-day public comment period will end on March 13, 2019. The Draft EA and associated documents can be viewed on the BLM ePlanning website at https://go.usa.gov/xP5MR.
