BLM seeking input for the Wheat Creek Meadows habitat management area

KEMMERER, Wyo. - The Bureau of Land Management Kemmerer Field Office is seeking input for the Wheat Creek Meadows Habitat Management Area.  Wheat Creek Meadows is located about 15 miles north of Kemmerer, Wyo., in the Pomeroy Basin near Commissary Ranches.  The 1,650-acre area is adjacent to the Mammoth Hollow and Pomeroy Grazing allotments. 

The purpose of this project is to improve wildlife habitat quality, create additional recreation opportunities, and improve and enhance portions of the National Historic Trail System.   The BLM values comments to assist with National Environmental Policy Act analysis and the development of alternatives.

Comments will be accepted until Oct. 30, 2017.  Please submit them via e-mail to blm_wy_kemmerer_wymail@blm.gov with “Wheat Creek Meadows HMA” in the subject line. Alternatively, comments may be hand delivered or mailed to:
