BLM releases final supplemental environmental impact statement, proposed amendment for Miles City resource management plan

MILES CITY, Mont. – The Bureau of Land Management Montana State Office today published a notice of availability and a final supplemental environmental impact statement (EIS) that augments analysis for the 2015 Miles City Field Office Approved Resource Management Plan (RMP). The BLM prepared this analysis in response to an order from the U.S. District Court of Montana. The notice of availability also initiates the 30-day protest period on the proposed plan amendment. Protests must be RECEIVED on or before November 4, 2019 to be considered.
