Participants should meet at 8 a.m. at the historic Susanville Railroad Depot, 601 Richmond Rd. The bus and bike shuttle will drop riders and their bikes at Devil’s Corral, Fredonyer Summit and Westwood, where riders can use the trail for 7, 18, and 30-mile rides back to Susanville.  Bus fares are $2 or $3, depending on the stop, and the bike shuttle donation is $3.

The ride is ideal for families. The route is mostly downhill or flat on a smooth gravel surface.  The BLM recommends wide-tired or hybrid bikes.
