PRICE, Utah –The Bureau of Land Management Price Field Office has issued a final Environmental Assessment and Decision Record for the IACX Energy Project. This Decision Record authorizes the proposed action of drilling one exploratory well to determine the feasibility of producing commercial quantities of gas containing helium on its federal lease located approximately 19 miles northwest of Green River, Utah.

"We are committed to making prudent decisions as we seek to balance the development of important minerals while also protecting the resources entrusted under our care," said Green River District Manager, Gary Torres.

Flow testing conducted on the proposed well site will determine whether it contains both a sufficient quantity and quality of helium.  If confirmed, then IACX will undertake additional exploration activities.  If determined that the helium resource is not viable, IACX will plug the well, remove all equipment, and restore the site to its current condition in accordance with the district reclamation guidelines.
