BLM to hold virtual information forum on the recently issued oil and gas leasing policy guidance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Bureau of Land Management will host a virtual information forum for interested stakeholders on the recently issued policy guidance to implement the oil and gas leasing provisions in the Inflation Reduction Act and updated direction on other program components.
The virtual information forum is scheduled for Friday, December 16, 2022, at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. The forum will be hosted via Zoom and is expected to last about 60 minutes. BLM staff will provide a short overview of the policy followed by a question-and-answer session.
